CIVIX
As multiple listing services around the country began receiving letters from CIVIX-DDI, LLC alleging patent infringement by the MLSs, NAR contacted the patent holder to discuss a possible resolution to the issue at the request of numerous MLS organizations. As a result, NAR entered into an agreement with CIVIX-DDI, LLC (“CIVIX”) that will allow MLSs to obtain licenses under the CIVIX patents and avoid claims of patent infringement.
